Lion King with Andy's family

One of the great perks to living in Las Vegas is all the conventions that come to town, and with these conventions we are lucky to not only get friends in town but Andy's family as well.  In early November, Andy's brother Joey, his parents, and his grandma DeCoursey all came to see us while Andy's Dad attended a convention. It was a treat as always to have them in town and the kids absolutely love spending time with their grand parents and great grandma! We kept pretty busy, went out, ate at yummy places, and ended with a bang on their last night here by going to Lion King. It was AMAZING. We wanted to see it before it left Vegas and were able to just in the nick of time. We left Talia with my parents since the show ran pretty late and I was worried she wouldn't make it through the whole performance, but Andrew came and had a blast.
Before the show we went to Maggiano's which is our favorite spot to go with Andy's family. It has kind of become a tradition when they are in town. We always end up there and manage to get great seating. If the weather is nice we sit outside and request this corner balcony table facing the strip which is amazing, and this time since it was cold we were indoors but got this perfectly secluded booth by chance. We just love this place.
Andrew is in heaven with their flat bread pizza. He was also loving sitting next to his Great Grandma DeCoursey.

I love the excitement in Andrew's face. He couldn't wait for the show to start. It was so much fun sitting next to Andrew. We had really good seats and he was right on the isle where all the animals come down at the start of the show and during different parts of the show. Andrew was going crazy he loved it so much! The costumes were so neat and the vocals were awesome. It captivated my 5 year old and that says a lot. I would highly recommend seeing this show if you can.
